The SURvet Ambulance is specially equipped to transfer patients both to our Hospital or from your home to your regular veterinary centre.

The service can be used for transfering emergency patients as well as those that need to make visits or have diagnostic tests in our Hospital or other veterinary centres.
Likewise, it can be used in other particular situations for example, as a Medicalised Ambulance where the transfer is made with a Veterinary or Veterinary Assistant aboard to guarantee the correct monitoring of the patient.

The service is also available to profesionals who use SURvet as Veterinary Referral Centre.

How does the service work and how can it be booked?

When you ask for our Veterinary Ambulance Service, a Veterinary Technician will ensure the correct transfer of your cat or dog, ensuring the maximum comfort for the patient. Furthermore, in the case of urgent transfers, our team will be in direct contact with the Hospital to ensure that all the necessary resources are available before the patient arrives at SURvet. This helps us to prepare beforehand and be even more efficient with the care of the patient.

What is the price and Zone of coverage?

The average service time of the Ambulance is between 45 minutes and one hour. The price varies, depending on the city of origin and destination. Service coverage area is:

  • Barcelona City area, l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Badalona (Barcelonès)

  • Sabadell, Sant Cugat del Vallès, Terrassa, Rubí, Cerdanyola del Vallès (Vallès Occidental)

  • Granollers, Montornès, Mollet del Vallès, Caldes de Montbui (Vallès Oriental)

  • Mataró, El Masnou, Malgrat de Mar, Pineda de Mar (Maresme)

Our 24hr Veterinary Hospital is open to the general public for emergencies when their usual veterinary centre is closed, during night hours and holidays.

Do you need a home emergency visit?

In colaboration with Domivet, we can offer our clients an Emergency Home service for Barcelona, Vallès, Maresme, Bages and many other areas.
