A CT system equipped with cutting-edge technology provides detailed 3D images of the inside of the animal’s body, overcoming the limitations of conventional radiographic techniques.

The CT procedure is performed under anesthesia in most cases, with continuous control and monitoring ensuring patient safety at all times. The duration of the test varies between 15 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the complexity of the study. This technique is vital to detect complex pathologies with maximum precision and, with this, be able to plan interventions or identify pathologies such as:
- Orthopedic: evaluates fractures, fragmentation, dysplasias, among other pathologies, helping with subsequent surgical planning.
- Oncological: recognition of tumor extension and invasion. Facilitates the diagnosis of metastasis.
- Neurological: hydrocephalus, identification of herniated discs, vertebral malformations, intracranial neoplasms.
- Nasal and sinus affections: fungal infections, neoplasms, location of foreign bodies, nasopharyngeal stenosis.
- Endocrine: recognition, accurate measurement of different glands such as the thyroid gland and adrenal glands.
- Digestive: neoplasms, malformations, detection of foreign bodies.
- Otics: otitis media and internals.
- Cardiorespiratory: pleural effusions, vascular anomalies, malformations, neoplasms, pulmonary torsion.
