Domivet, our collaborating partner for home emergencies
Does your cat or dog need urgent veterinary attention at home and your regular veterinary centre is closed? Or does your pet need urgent treatment and you can’t or don’t want to come to SURvet? Domivet is the collaborating partner of SURvet that provides an Emergency Home Veterinary service.
Founded in 2004 and integrating a team of professionals specialising in Emergency Home Veterinary services, they cover the Barcelona capital and regional areas as well as the Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, Bages and Maresme.

How does Domivet work and what is included in their 24hr Home service?
- The effective response time of Domivet is between 20-45 minutes and 1 hour (average 45 minutes in the majority of towns which are covered). Call 610 786 786 and they will confirm the estimated time in which the veterinary will arrive at your home
- Consult if your city/town/village is on the list of places where Domivet offer their services
- The price of the service is €95 (inc. VAT) and includes: travel expenses of the veterinary to your home, the visit and any medical prescriptions needed
- The service DOES NOT include in any situation: medication and material for treatment, diagnostic tests and analyses, treatment, transport of the animal (with or without specialised vehicle) or admission to hospital. (in the case that it is needed or Domivet feel it is necessary)
- Any extra procedure or treatment that the veterinary deems necessary will have an added cost of €60 (inc. VAT) e.g. sedation or anesthesia of the patient, stitches/sutures, fluid therapies etc… The veterinary will inform the client beforehand
If the services offered by Domivet do not exactly meet all of your requirements, at SURvet we offer our clients a Veterinary Ambulance Service: a specially adapted and equiped vehicle for the transport of cats, dogs and small animals to our Hospital. It is useful for the most critical cases that require immediate medical intervention and diagnosis (radiography, ecography etc.) or treatment and admission to the hospital.
